Another of Lesley's recorded breaking dogs was Ali, MBIS GCHS Takara the Time is Now. She was the first smooth saluki to be number one breed saluki. She had a total of seven all breed Best in Shows in her two year career. This was unheard of in the smooth coated salukis, in fact Ali's owners weren't even sure if she could get her majors to finish her championship at the start due to the bias in the breed.
Lesley now owns her own smooth saluki, having fallen in love with the breed after Ali. Del, a black and tan saluki, was number one saluki puppy in Canada in 2016 with two Best Puppy in Hound Group at Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Dog Association.
